What do you do after you have found the best? That is the question at the heart of this exploration of Hebrews 10:19-25. After establishing the supreme superiority of Jesus Christ, the passage pivots with a single word that changes everything: therefore. That one word launches us into the practical realities of living out a faith anchored in the person and work of Christ. We are reminded of two basic motivations that go beyond abstract theological ideas to be bedrock realities that free us to live boldly and faithfully. When we grasp that no accusation, no guilty conscience, and no stumbling can revoke the access Christ purchased for us, everything changes. The question is no longer whether we are worthy to draw near to God. The question becomes, why would we ever stay away?
